Since its release in 2021, the action-adventure game Kena: Bridge of Spirits has captivated players on PlayStation and Windows. Yet, nearly three years later, it remains unavailable on other platforms. Recent developments, however, suggest that this might soon change. An age rating for Kena: Bridge of Spirits – Deluxe Edition on Xbox Series X/S has surfaced via the ESRB, with Maximum Entertainment listed as the publisher. While there has been no direct confirmation about an Xbox launch, this new rating could hint at an upcoming announcement.
Ember Lab, the studio behind Kena, had previously expressed intentions to explore opportunities to release the game on additional platforms once the initial launch period had settled. While there have been quiet periods without updates, the studio did mention last year that it was developing a new, more ambitious project.
